cmdReporter Suite Overview

Why cmdReporter?
Our founder wrote the macOS security guidance for the U.S. government and has spent the last decade securing macOS everywhere from the Pentagon to small non-profits.

Regulatory Compliance
cmdReporter's least-verbose setting exceeds the compliance and auditing requirements of CIS, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and the DISA STIG.

No Kernel Extension
cmdReporter runs without kernel-level permissions which avoids a long list of security and stability concerns. cmdReporter has and will continue to have day-zero support for each and every macOS release.

Continuously Streaming Data
cmdReporter will directly and securely stream log data to nearly any SIEM or data lake tool on the market in real time.

JSON Output
All logs from your macOS endpoints will have the same ndjson format and shares a common information scheme.

Light Footprint
cmdReporter is invisible to the end user, doesn’t require a reboot for installation, and has extremely low battery impact.

macOS Unified Logs + Others
Collect any macOS unified logs and a wealth of other information from other Apple frameworks all in the same format to the same destinations.
